This is not CSS grid-aware, but energy grid-aware websites. Websites that respond to the “cleanliness” of the user’s local electricity grid. A very interesting read and concept.

function. Tools like this are extremely useful ways for people to learn concepts visually too.
Not to spoil the article, but HTML is a lot more powerful than you might give it credit for.
When it comes to new CSS capabilities you don’t have to avoid using them because there’s not much browser support. Lean into progressive enhancement instead. It’ll cover a lot of cases for you.
