This is a must-read if you are using Next.js or are thinking of using Next.js. It’s balanced, fair and damning.
Sprints are like the jar in my favorite metaphor – if you fill them with sand, there won’t be room for big rocks. But if you start with rocks, there’s room for plenty of sand.
No surprises I was nodding along to this. We’re obsessed with sprints and iterations too.

I really like the static noise animated texture on this site and there’s some really nice creative touches too. No scroll-smoothing or scroll-jacking either 🎉
This does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s really useful to get a temperature check of how the top sites are doing in terms of performance. It’s a good discovery method of finding inspiration from sites that do a good job too.
Sam Rose walks us through some real-world usage of TypeScript’s utility types in their day job’s open source codebase to help those new to the language get to grips with this key capability.
