We’ve done a massive update to The Index so I thought I’d just share that with you. We’ve redesigned the email template, along with all of the web templates. We’re loving it and I hope you do too.

There’s lots to love here. I really like the typography and layout grids. I also like that when you view source, you can actually read the markup.

When the new CSS attr() stuff arrived, I immediately thought “finally, we can keep stagger animations from the markup,” but I was wrong. Turns out this is the way instead. Exciting stuff.

I love how this design goes against the norms of a typical event site and how Graphic Design™ it is.

A really interesting breakdown of an often used, but often misunderstood (in my case) header.

Progressive enhancement, native HTML controls and web components. What’s not to love?
