Happy Friday! Let’s have a good ol’ classic great websites issue.
What happens if you have a phone constantly querying Shazam on a busy street? You get Bop Spotter. I think it’s a cool (albeit creepy) idea that gives a good overview of the culture and vibe of an area. Lovely website too!
Lots of people make great personal websites, but this one by anh is on another level. Make sure you use the light mode toggle (several times)! My very good friend Nic Chan’s new personal website is also on another level. The attention to detail is unreal. What a superstar.
I really like this site, once you get rid of the annoying modals. Why do marketeers insist on trying to steal your attention the second you arrive? It’s so anti-user. Anyway, there’s some really nice elements to the design and front-end development too. Bellissimo.
Lastly, this brand archive is cool. Just looking at logo-after-logo when you’re deep in the creative process of designing one yourself is really useful. I can see myself using this site if I design another (I really hope not).
P.S. This is a good demo
