Let’s have a look at some nice websites in this issue. Starting with Upfront. I don’t think I’ve seen hover states quite like it for product images and I’d love to see the numbers in terms of conversions, because I can see this being a really effective approach.
This one is a bit of a UX nightmare, but I love the typography and layout work. Visually, it’s right up my alley.
Not only does Daylight look like a fantastic product, the storytelling on their website is top-notch. They did it without scroll-jacking too. Again for the back, they did it without scroll-jacking.
This agency site does, unfortunately, feature scroll-jacking to create a “smooth scroll” (which is janky as my low battery Mac struggles with all the JS processing lol). I really like the look and feel though.
I know it’s all websites today, but I gotta share this with ya too.
