This is a long read, but Ed is one of very few writers who is reporting on AI with a pragmatic angle, sharply focused on the actual reality, not the hype.
A thoroughly enjoyable read about a rather nice solution to a very common design pattern.
We’re big fans of Lola and TetraLogical here so we were always going to enjoy this one.
Tagged template literals are not a good long-term solution for native templating as we see it, so it’s good to see this sort of writing about what we could have.

We’ve taken a cut of the respondents from our 2025 survey, so it’s time to break down what the data is telling us and how that relates to our longer term plans to go all-in on Piccalilli.
