Ron Bronson

Ron is an Assistant Professor of Practice in Urban Technology at the University of Michigan. A front-end developer by trade, he’s spent years as a designer primarily working on digital modernization in municipal, state and federal governments in the US. Most recently.

He was Head of Design at 18F, a federal digital services unit and speaks at UX and its discontents at conferences worldwide. He's an affiliate of the Joint Frontiers collective in Helsinki and started Portland Design Month.

Offscreen, Ron is a successful high school tennis coach, community radio DJ and skeeball maven.
