#2
Welcome back to The Index. We hope you had a great weekend!
There’s a definitive theme this week: scroll-triggered animation. You’re going to love these sites, so let’s get stuck in.
⚠️ Motion warning
This is one of those sites that’s not very user-friendly, but you forgive it because it’s outrageously creative and clever—especially in terms of animation and narrative. I’m always fascinated in how these ideas could come together and how successful these sites are in terms of brand awareness and sales.
Overall, it’s a great example of how powerfully limitless the web can be and definitely makes your eyes smile.
⚠️ Motion warning
We love a site that creatively tells a story with great design, considered copywriting and animation. This site ticks all of those boxes.
The look and feel is delightful and the way it’s tastefully enhanced with animation is excellent. It’s really interesting content to read too, even if you’re not a football fan.
⚠️ Motion warning
Wrapping up this issue is another delightful scroll-triggered site. It’s a fantastic one-pager that tells you exactly what they’re all about (we’re a fan of doing that).
The copy on this site is outstanding. It’s so clear and concise. The way the line draws itself as you scroll is a delightful touch too.
